We are called to grow and serve with purpose. Ephesians 4:12 reminds us that the goal of equipping the saints is “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

Our mission is not simply to raise up seat-fillers, but to nurture what Jesus described in John 4:23 as “true worshipers.” These are believers who, through the power of the Holy Spirit, are prepared to defend their faith when the time comes (1 Peter 3:15) and who are ready to take part in the greater mission of reaching the world.
